朝露は一番純度が高い水で、遭難した人の命をつなぐ飲み水にもなるほど。時代を越えて、誰もが水と共に生きているように、Dewの音楽も朝露のように透明で、時代を越えて人の心を潤すものであって欲しい…という願いをこめて2人が命名。
The morning dew is a water with highest purity, and it can even save the life of the person who is lost in an accident to survive. Over ages, human being had lived with water. Dew named the song wishing that their music would be clear as the morning dew, and that it would reach to people's heart beyond ages.

共に高校3年間をカナダで過ごした清水悠(Vo.)と山口春奈(Vo.&Piano)が、 学校生活の中で自然と2人で歌うようになり結成したデュオ。

2006年にインディーズにてピアノアルバム「croquis」をリリース。2011年にはベストアルバム「Message〜best collection 2006-2011」をリリースした。 現在もライブ活動に力を入れながら精力的に活動を続けており、2013年2月8日にはニューアルバム"PORTABLE"をリリースする。
